What is a hero to you? Has you opinion on hero's changed since we began discussing this topic?

A hero is someone who is selfless, courageous, and usually kind. They help others and do not expect or ask for anything in return. A hero doesn't necessarily have to be someone that is well known, a hero can be someone that you know personally. No, my opinion on hero's hasn't changed since we began discussing this topic. I still don't think a hero has to be someone like Superman, a hero is someone who devotes their lives to selflessly helping others.
